Garmin Xero CSV import: ShotView sessions and Excel workbooks
Start from the ballistic record that should hold the chronograph results. A single-session CSV adds one session; an all-sessions XLS or XLSX workbook can add several.
A normal record linked to one load
Open the record and choose Import Garmin (Premium), then Choose files. New imports require active premium access. Read the preview, remove sessions that belong elsewhere, and select Import N sessions. With no saved ladder variations, the sessions attach directly to this record. There is no ladder dropdown or separate charge assignment.
Saved sessions remain available with your range results. Chronograph readings and target group measurements are separate: importing velocity data does not measure a group on a target photo.
A ladder record with several charges
Choose the saved Ladder step for each included CSV or worksheet before importing. Use the Session Note and your own range notes to verify the charge. The importer does not assign steps from file order or notes.
Follow the Garmin Xero Send All Sessions XLS import walkthrough for text-number fixes, a synthetic sample and worksheet-by-worksheet screenshots.
Before you save
Check the title, note, shot count, units and average. You can queue up to 20 files, no larger than 10 MB each. Preview does not save data. Import adds sessions and preserves earlier sessions; it does not replace them. If a save cannot be confirmed, check the record before uploading again.
